This position is responsible for developing, executing, and advancing company-wide sustainability related activities across the Americas region while offering complementary support across our other regions, embedding sustainability throughout the organization and performing analytical analyses to measure success. The Sustainability Program Manager implements and oversees the overall sustainability activities in conjunction with business unit and support services. The Sustainability Program Manager ensures that our sustainability effort enhances business performance and supports Jet Aviation’s long-term interests in a collaborative and balanced approach. This is an office-based role out of any Jet Aviation location. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Americas vision of sustainability at Jet Aviation, as well as integration and alignment of sustainability across key businesses and functions with complementary support of global and cross-collaboration across our regions

  • Embed sustainability into everyday business practices of Jet Aviation

  • Shape the development and execution of sustainability strategies with associated goals designed to drive business results, reduce risk, and ensure continuity and enhance brand value

  • Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance and identify and prioritize the key opportunities for improvement

  • Source innovative solutions on renewable energy, driving strategies that meet our sustainability targets

  • Develop sustainable aviation fuel strategies, in partnership with internal teams

  • Formulate action plans with defined objectives, targets, and responsibilities to support agreed upon sustainability goals

  • In conjunction with the Americas leadership team, help to integrate sustainability development into core processes and decision-making

  • Measure and monitor progress against objectives and performance targets

  • Offer expertise and leadership to support initiatives to reduce company-wide resource consumption and waste generation

  • Build out capability to track and monitor sustainability activities including the development of a sustainability dashboard, as well as the collection of data around environmental impact

  • Keep senior leadership abreast of sustainability trends, priorities, and strategies, including key initiatives


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in sustainability, knowledge of environmental and climate related issues

  • Experience implementing strategies across large businesses

  • Strategically minded and commercially astute with a proven capacity to translate information and ideas into actionable plans

  • Internal partnership skills and the experience working across multiple teams and business units in a large organization, aligning goals, and developing execution plans

  • Industry experience and understanding of the marketplace, emerging technologies, and commercial dynamics

  • A credible industry thought leader, experienced at engaging with and communicating to key internal and external stakeholders, across a variety of initiatives and industry forums

  • Experience anticipating future trends across the industry to influence, create and drive strategic impact, engagement, and communication

  • Proven experience designing meaningful goals and KPIs against which to measure sustainability performance

  • Results-driven project management, experience leading and executing effectively and showing significant results
