Watermelon Swim is an award-winning, year-round swim school in the Tampa Bay area that recently won the "Small Business of the Year" award from the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. We have 4 year-round facilities – Lutz, Riverview, South Tampa, and Wesley Chapel – and we are hiring in ALL of our locations! Our instructors teach babies through adults swim, safety, and survival skills. We are hiring part-time swim instructors. Schedules include at least 2 weekday evenings and 1 weekend day. Our pay is competitive: up to $18.00 per hr. if Lifeguard Certified. You do not need previous swim instructing experience.
If you are: a lover of the water, passionate, enthusiastic, nurturing, friendly, and fun, at least 16 years of age, and enjoy working with kids, this Instructor position is for you. We would love to meet you! You must be either certified or willing to be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Watermelon Swim’s proven teaching methodIf you have obtained your Water Safety Instructor and/or Lifeguard Training you will receive a pay increase.
