Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is looking to hire a System Engineer to support our DOD/IC customer’s new training center in Fort Washington, MD. The system engineer will provide overall guidance on the stand-up of this new capability and oversee laboratory support activities.


Responsibilities


As a Training Center / Lab Support systems engineer on our team you will:


  • Support the operation and maintenance of all hardware and software in compliance with established policies required by the customer for their production and training networks – to include deriving and managing requirements to ensure compatibility with defined architectures and compliance with customer standards; performing market studies and assisting in developing the system security plan.
  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 6 years of systems engineering experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable
  • Experience developing and implementing an Information System Security Plan (ISSP) and securing the enterprise (STE) in accordance with computer security regulations, to include providing topologies and inventories; maintaining system documentation and configuration data for regulatory and audit purposes; and leading incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft.
  • Experience performing market surveys/studies and providing recommendations for a new and improved software to enhance IT capabilities. #LI-SG1



Clearance: Must possess and active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
