We are seeking an Associate Systems Test Engineer to provide technical oversight and direction in support of functional test of flight electronics including cabling, harnesses and basic electronic chassis and assemblies.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Reviews and evaluates test requirements.
• Develops, prepares and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting production and development programs.
• Performs data review and data reduction and generates final reports.
• Provides troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
• Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency and throughput of test operations.

The position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.

Basic Qualifications:

• 's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (, Aerospace or related STEM/ degree preferred), or equivalent experience/combined
• Familiarity with and testing
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a US Secret security

Desired Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent technical writer (job entails writing test procedures and reports) and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
• Familiarity with environmental testing, including tests such as temperature, vibration, and shock and instrumentation as part of a previously held position or course work at the college level

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
