Job description
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for recruiting qualified hourly foodservice management candidates, to fill vacancies for a large, 600+ bed, acute care hospital. Must establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers and candidates applying for positions – both internal and external. Provides sufficient customer service to internal customer through effective recruiting tools to satisfy open position requirements and potential new business. Creates and/or maintains local recruiting networks with schools, colleges, organizations and associations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities associated with filling hourly food service associate vacancies to satisfy open position requirements for current and potential new business.
- Full-cycle recruitment support provided from posting of open positions to onboarding new hires.
- Monitors completion of pre-employment criteria for new hires in applicant tracking system, to include but not limited to medical and background check reports.
- Assists in planning and participates in internal and external Job Fairs, Hiring Events.
- Processes change orders in system to include but not limited to entering new hires, change requests, terminations, promotions and/or transfers as needed.
- Assembles and maintains employee personnel files for the system; prepares and distributes hourly new hire packets or other materials.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required; must be comfortable with speaking with persons at all levels and making oral presentations.
- Manages confidential and sensitive information in trustworthy manner.
- Tracks candidates in hiring process and completes daily, weekly or monthly reporting as required.
- Assists managers with the training of new employees.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills including intermediate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors is a plus).
- Excellent organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
