Overview:
This role has the opporutnity to be fully virtual, must be located within the US or hybrid in our NY office if within the New York area.

Reporting to the Director of Federal Tax Accounting and Compliance, the Manager, US Federal Tax Account and Compliance is responsible for preparation of Federal tax returns and US tax provision.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Federal income tax returns for principal US entities, including reconciliation of worldwide book income to US legal entity income, calculation of significant book/tax differences for depreciation, inventory, and other tax sensitive permanent and timing differences.
  • Prepare consolidated federal return.
  • Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and extension.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual worldwide tax provision and income tax balance sheet; including analysis and preparation of the schedules to support temporary and permanent differences.
  • Forecasting the worldwide effective tax rate, cash tax, and tax balance sheet.
  • Maintain and improve tax accounting processes, reporting systems, and related internal controls.
  • Preparation of federal tax audit responses.
  • Research and analyze various Federal tax issues.
  • As needed, prepare selected state income tax returns.
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MS in taxation preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of public accounting and/or industry experience with a focus on federal compliance.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740.
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and Corptax preferred.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to interact independently with peers and management, excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge of Altrex or some analytic tool preferred.

Benefits:
The annual base salary range is $90000 - $115000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
