The Hyde Park Central School District, a unique culturally diverse district with influences of urban, suburban and rural settings, is located in the Mid-Hudson region of Dutchess County, New York. We educate nearly 3,600 students in 6 schools, including four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Position: Full Time Probationary Teacher Aide

Details: 10 month position (September to June)

Start date: ASAP

Annual Salary: $17,471.93 (per the Hyde Park CSUEA contract)

Hours: approximately 9:00am to 4:00pm

Minimum Qualification: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.

Candidate must be willing to work directly with a student in the educational environment - including assisting the student in the instructional process, monitoring the behavior of the student, ensuring the safety of the student, responsible for refocusing/redirecting the student, assisting with the student's physical needs (pushing a wheelchair, monitoring a medical device, accompanying the student in transitioning between classes, etc.).
