Job description

We are looking for a responsible lab & teaching assistant to maintain laboratory equipment and materials in the lab facility. The successful candidate will conduct the day to day lab activities, lab sessions for groups and field trips.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab sessions for groups, classes, and schools

• Help conduct classes, camps, and group sessions
• Maintain laboratory facility and equipment
• Prepare necessary lab solutions for lab use
• Follow methodologies in carrying routine tasks
• Research relevant topics and gather information/data
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
• Maintain work area and equipment

• Provide administrative assistance

Skills

• Proven working experience as a lab assistant
• Close attention to detail
• Restaurant, lab, or retail experience
• Highschool diploma with an interest in science or education

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

All employees are required to wear a mask, laboratory equipment and surfaces are disinfected constantly. Clients are required to clean or disinfect their hands before coming into the lab facility.
