Your Role at Baxter:

Assist warehouse supervisor in obtaining maximum efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Serves as subject matter expert in all duties related to material handling

• Directs carrier drivers upon reporting. Assigns trailers scheduled to be unloaded or loaded at specific times through warehouse management systems.

• Transports material by operating various types of Material Handling equipment.-e.g: (pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklift, clamp truck, cherry picker)

• Assists Manager in resolving discrepancies between production and warehouse concerning inventory counts and other problems encountered.

• Responsible for resolving any discrepancies between shipper’s packing list and quantities received before being entered into warehouse management system.

• Prepares all documents and physical assignments necessary for shift to perform efficiently and productively on a daily basis.

• Notifies logistics departments of equipment shortages or other related issues.

• Complete bill of lading, packing list, seal assignment, and bar code assignments for each order.

• Cross trains and assists with back up clerks when necessary.

• Complies with SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures.

• Provides leadership to enhance performance of department and take

• charge in the absence of the supervisor.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring:

• Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.

• Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.

• Must be able to lift 10-50 lbs.

• Must be able to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.

• Must be able to work overtime as required.

• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, AA preferred.

• 3 or more years of warehouse and/or technical office experience.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $46,600 to $60,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license and valid license to operate forklifts. Be willing to obtain Class C license.

Physical Demands:

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs.
• Visual acuity 20/40 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required.
• Frequent lifting up to 70 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds or greater
• Constant bending, twisting, reaching and grasping
• Frequent kneeling, squatting and wrist turning
• Occasional crawling, climbing and pinching
• Needs to hear at least 25 Db in 500, 1000

Language Skills: Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English in order to comply with necessary SOP’s, SPEC’s, Job-specific training materials, GMP’s, and other manuals.
