ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Functional Support Analyst, CMG will work across the Engineering organization and help drive the implementation and use of configuration management best practices. They will work with other members of the configuration management group (CMG), the Functional Support Analyst will perform CM engineering activities including configuration identification, product and document change management, configuration status accounting and configuration audit. The Functional Support Analyst will work closely with the Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations teams to manage the day-to-day activities of JUUL's product change management process within our product-lifecycle management system (PLM). This role is within the Configuration Management organization and will be responsible for overseeing the timely processing, approval, and release of product related change orders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports each functional Lead in activities pertaining to their CMG function
• Supports bill of materials scrubs to ensure accurate product data and data structures is captured
• Review and process change order requests submitted in Jira from internal teams
• Provide guidance to functional leads during the planning phase of process creation and improvement
• Create and manage Change Orders and deviations impacting our product BOM in the PLM system
• Keep a running log of areas of improvement that "could or should" be captured in official CMG processes
• Help conduct Engineering Change Review Board (CRB) meetings to inform and get approval from key stakeholders on initial production releases
• Ensure product BOM data in the PLM system is accurately maintained throughout new product development phases
• Help ensure the necessary level of communication, messaging and training to cross-functional teams in regard to new processes and/or updates to existing processes that can or may affect them

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background and experience in product engineering
• Excellent written and communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in Configuration and Product Lifecycle Management

EDUCATION:

• Configuration Management certification to EIA-649C or equivalent
