Job description

This program will be responsible for supplying personal computers (PCs), including laptops, thin clients, and desktops for a large federal financial agency. This includes the acquisition, imaging, warehousing, distribution and servicing of the equipment thousands of new employees every year. The client expects the vendor to increase automation and self-service capabilities and reduce the time it takes to introduce new or innovative technology solutions. The technical writer is responsible for supporting the program’s activities and daily requirements through the creation and maintenance of business and process documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:
Collects and organizes information required for the preparation of user documentation, procedural guides, product and service descriptions and other required materials. Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, special reports or any other customer or internal deliverables and documents. May perform such other management support functions as required, including the creation of reporting for senior management.

This position is contingent upon award.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience with technical writing, especially in supply chain environment. Requires High School level plus some advanced training. 4-5 years of experience.
Must be able to identify and communicate program risks and recommend mitigation.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Colorado Salary Maximum: $91,800
