Job summary

The Electronics Technician (ET) is responsible for the assembly, test, documentation and integration of electronic/electrical equipment, systems or subsystems. The ET also performs various test, measurement, and verification functions in support of the Electronics Design Engineers.

Responsibilities/daily tasks

The ET performs mechanical/electrical assembly including soldering components to circuit boards, assembly and repair of pressure balanced - oil-filled cable assemblies, tests, and installs electronic circuits and equipment using electronics test equipment, hand tools, and specialized devices as required. The ET will work closely with the Electronics Design Engineer and other Operations personnel to install, test, document, and verify the electronic/electrical equipment function. The ET will have demonstrable experience in both analogue & digital equipment. The ET will perform troubleshooting/fault location assistance to the Operations Department during manufacture/integration. The ET will perform technical documentation of designs to Seanic and Customer requirements, as well as Customer technical support.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will have greater than three years of work experience working on electronics. Experience in related fields or disciplines is desirable. Requires proficient computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
