MAJOR FUNCTION : Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, utilizing radiation producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education: Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology

B. Experience: Experience preferred but new graduates acceptable

C. Certification/Licensure: New Jersey DEP License required, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required, CPR certified required.

D. Physical Requirements: P rolonged, extensive or considerable standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes

and/or transfers patients. Lifts supplies and equipment. Subject to potential electrical and

radiation hazards.
