Job Purpose
The TEM-Souring Analyst will lead telecom and colocation purchasing for North and South America. This includes completing RFQs, cost analysis, KMZ reviews, contract negotiations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, honest, and proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and business acumen
The role includes but not limited to, working directly with our engineering teams to determine requirements and initiate bids with multiple vendors to determine the best solution and pricing. Managing the full lifecycle: quoting, ordering, implementation, and inventory record creation.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and track vendor bids and perform cost and technical analysis
- Expanding and maintaining a large diverse network of telecom and datacenter suppliers
- Review contracts and sales order forms
- Manage negotiations, disputes, and escalations
- Maintain industry knowledge and proactively stay current
Knowledge and Experience
- Have a working understanding telecommunications and colocation services and engineering
- Bachelors degree in a relevant area or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in Telecom Procurement with experience working directly with global telecommunications suppliers
- Experience reviewing KMZ/KML
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Understanding of ServiceNow is preferable

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week .
