Job description

1) Analyzing and improving voice and data technologies within the Reemployment Assistance (RA) environment;

2) Performing capacity planning and systems engineering for enterprise Cisco systems in conjunction with remote sites;

3) Recording trends that may develop into issues;

4) Evaluating and assessing voice and data communication systems;

5) Researching voice and data technologies for the appropriate DEO solutions;

6) Recommending and implementing voice and data communication systems and improvements;

7) Maintaining, tuning, and supporting network Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and communication infrastructure;

8) Developing product specifications for VOIP and telecommunications; and

9) Documenting and improving the operational telecommunications environment.

Rules, policies, and any other standards and procedures

All the information technology services to be furnished shall meet the professional standard and quality that prevail among information technology professionals in the same discipline and of similar knowledge and skill engaged in related work throughout Florida under the same or similar circumstances. The consultant shall provide, at their own expense, any added training necessary for keeping staff abreast of industry advances and for maintaining proficiency in equipment and systems that are available on the commercial market.

Consultant shall maintain during the term of the Contract all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the information technology staff augmentation services.

When on DEO premises, consultants must obey and comply with all rules, policies, and any other standards and procedures which must be adhered to by DEO’s employees and vendors.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $62,441.38 - $142,570.35 per year
