GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ENR - Enrollment Services department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Perform testing duties which include administering placement testing to new and returning Greenville Technical College students and proctoring of hard-copy and on-line testing for Greenville Technical College students and students from other colleges and universities. Other responsibilities include assisting with sign-in and sign-out, tracking reports, and trouble shooting technical issues related to electronic sign-in and computer based testing. Report issues to Director of Testing or faculty and staff as applicable.
Provide students, faculty, staff, and other computer lab visitors with computer-based academic and administrative services which include assisting with passwords, printing, Microsoft Office applications, on-line coursework, e-mail, and on-line college processes (financial aid, registration, etc.). Other responsibilities include communicating effectively with other computer lab coordinators, participating in department planning, sharing information about lab-related issues and assuring optimum performance and utilization of all open lab resources. Collaborate with other college areas as needed and follow college policies and procedures relating to functions that students and other visitors must perform in the computer lab environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain Accuplacer proctoring certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*Basic knowledge of computer technology *Communication skills which include, but are not limited to, the ability to communicate detailed instructions both verbally and written. *Knowledge of personal computers. *Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, e-mail tools, and Internet search strategies. *exceptional customer service, organization, and ability to work independently and in a group setting. *This position will be split between the GTC Testing Center and the Student Success Center Computer Lab (M-Th 3 p.m.-5 p.m. in the computer lab and 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. in the Testing Center with some flexibility between the two as needed).
