The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town has an immediate need for a Tennis Camp Recreation Counselor in the Parks and Recreation department.

In this position, you will provide the following service to our community:

• Work with the summer tennis camps for ages 7-13.
• Assist the camp director with teaching tennis and supervision.

What you will need:

• Must enjoy working with young children.
• Previous tennis experience.
• First Aid and CPR certification required – Town of Herndon will provide all necessary training, if needed, prior to the start of camp.

Work Location:
Herndon Community Center; 814 Ferndale Avenue, Herndon, VA 20170
Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.

Hours:
Monday – Friday, up to 40 hours per week

Pay:
$12-22 per hour, depending on qualifications
