Magnolia Recovery treats addiction from a “whole person” perspective. Our program focuses not only on the individual, but the family system as well. We not only treat your addiction, but we also address any underlying emotional concerns that may escalate the manifestation of your symptoms. We believe that recovery care coupled with stabilization of emotional well-being is the key to successfully maintaining your sobriety.

Treating addiction and mental health conditions concurrently is considered dual diagnosis care. Many recent studies conclude that an integrated approach is much more effective in reaching long-term sobriety and behavior modifications than treatment that deals with addiction alone.

American Institute of Addiction, located in Valley Village/Studio City, CA, is a Privately-Owned inpatient substance use, mental health, co-occurring disorders program for adults. We are currently seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated associates or fully licensed MFT/LCSW/MSW/PCC’s to join our team of incredible clinicians and staff. Our program offers a full array of treatment options for our clients.

Requirements:

Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science
Registered as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, MSW
Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse populations

Experience with utilization review and knowledge of ASAM criteria
Training in evidence-based practices
Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff
Strong communication skills

Primary Duties Include:

· Provide direct care and supervision to clients in the milieu
· Perform assessments, bio-psychosocial, and treatment plans
· Conduct individual, couple/family and group psychotherapy sessions
· Completion of clinical charting
· Desire to participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team
· Conduct weekly process groups sessions
· Potential for having a caseload of individuals
· Crisis Management and intervention including safety plan and risk assessments

Requirements for Associate MFT/SW/PCC:

· Must be registered as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC with the California Board of Behavior Science
· Driver’s License and reliable form of transportation
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff must show proof of vaccination OR provide weekly negative COVID test results as a requirement by the state of California.
