Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions and maintain caseload at required level
- Work to ensure maximum client show rate
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Develop and update treatment plans with input from treatment team as indicated by program policies and procedures
- Participate in weekly clinical case conference
- Establish linkages with other community resources to facilitate client referrals and coordination
- Work with treatment team to develop continuing care plans one month prior to discharge
- Complete discharge summary within 5 days of discharge
- Maintain a continuous record of all client contacts including progress toward accomplishing goals
- Maintaining client charts that meet all state, local, and program guidelines
- Participate in at least 25 hours of training each training year
- Participate in weekly supervision
- Complete court reports and attend court, if applicable
- Complete all reporting requirements as required by program leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and two years related experience with one of the following credentials: licensed in PA as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psychologist, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) required
- Minimum of two years clinical experience conducting individual, family and group therapy
- Experience in substance abuse treatment with an adult population
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function in a professional manner, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills with other staff at all times
- Ability to negotiate social service and legal systems and advocate for clients
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
- Ability to establish professional limit setting
- Knowledge of and adherence to all state, city and program policies and procedures
- Sensitivity to issues of diversity
Salary:
- Commensurate with education and experience
- Grade 17
