You'd be joining a team focused on helping support and stabilize Cumberland County families involved with DCP&P where the children are at risk of abuse or neglect.

What you'll do as a therapist

• Provide weekly in-home therapy and case management to parents, children and families in Cumberland County.
• Enhance functioning and well-being of parents and children through therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Teach, coach and model parenting skills and effective parent-child interactions.
• Advocate and link families to concrete services and supports.
• Work collaboratively with DCP&P and community service providers
• Complete documentation consistent with program and agency requirements.

What you'll contribute as a therapist

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work
• Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills
• Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care
• Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently
• Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment
• Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record
