A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TIRE AND AUTO REPAIR STORE MANAGER
nAs a Tire and Auto Repair Store Manager, you manage the personnel and operations of our retail tire store. Working directly under our general manager, you build and supervise an excellent team. You handle recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, payroll, and workplace scheduling. Providing great customer service is your priority, so you make sure your team keeps the store clean and creates a welcoming environment for our customers. You're a confident manager who leads by example and helps your team members meet their performance goals.
nLooking at the big picture, you manage profit and ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds our sales goals. Monitoring key performance indicators and budgets, you keep our sales and finances on track. You also process invoices and sales reconciliations. Your satisfaction comes from leading a high-performing team and achieving your professional goals!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TIRE AND AUTO REPAIR STORE MANAGER

- Automotive maintenance and repair experience at the master level n
- 5+ years of experience in an assistant manager (or similar) position in a retail environment OR comparable training or education n
- Knowledge about the operational requirements of a tire, lubrication, and auto repair retail store n
- Professional training or education in retail sales or an auto repair facility n
- Proficiency with applicable computer processes and automotive-related software n
- Experience in customer service, customer relations, and employee relations n
ASE Master certification and comprehensive knowledge of tire, lubrication, and auto repair technology are preferred. Previous management experience in the industry would be a plus. Can you communicate effectively with both employees and customers? Do you have excellent customer service skills? Can you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment? Are you able to manage multiple competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines? Do you feel comfortable coaching and providing feedback?
