What You'll Do
As a Tool & Die Maker, you'll be part of our Manufacturing team located in Elyria, OH. You'll get to:
Manufacture, assemble and repair tools, dies and specialized parts.
Analyze prints, setup and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and ID/OD grinders to manufacture to specifications.
Assemble new dies per print specifications and repair broken dies.
Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks and dial indicators.
Reads and understands blueprints.
Shares knowledge and skills with coworkers including training Tool & Die Maker Apprentices.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Follow all health and safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Who You Are

Tool & Die Journeyman certification or equivalent experience required.
Experience manufacturing cold heading tooling preferred.
Ability to safely and accurately operate all production and measuring equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, and with engineers and machinists.
