Our Guest Services Tour Guide is essential in leading safe and memorable experiences for Premium Members and guests at Moody Center. Tour Guides will provide an elevated level of service while conducting public and private arena wide tours on non-event days. Tour Guides have an exclusive opportunity to serve as a Moody Center ambassador through world-class storytelling with fun facts and engaging content. This position is ideal for anyone with a background in hospitality, customer service, and those with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall experience of Moody Center tour guests throughout the arena.
- Escort tour guests around Moody Center, following a pre-determined itinerary and script.
- Confidently speak in front of large visitor groups and answer questions.
- Identify opportunities to create memorable experiences for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries & other celebrations.
- Ensure ticketing, check-in, and guided tours maintain an acceptable pace and are on time.
- Maintain working knowledge of Moody Center, Oak View Group, and the University of Texas Basketball.
- Assist with ADA needs and provide accommodation for guests, as needed.
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Day-time availability during June-August. Event availability requirement is subject to change.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and engage with guests.
- Ability to memorize and recite scripts, facts, information, and stories.
- Demonstrated experience with public speaking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a tour guide, public speaker, or hospitality concierge is preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based industry is preferred.
- Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred.
- Bilingual-English/Spanish, preferred not required.
Working Conditions
- Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
- Physical requirements include feel and reach with hands and arms, walking, stooping, lifting to 50 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
