Trailer Mechanic - Joliet, IL
Top Pay for Experienced Technicians $19 to $37 per hour
Starting pay rate based on experience and skill level. There is a 6% monthly Bonus opportunity based on team efficiency.

Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass all pre-employment screens
- Be authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a trailer.
- Knowledge of air brake systems and repairs
- Optional but provides better pay - HM183 certification (Registered Inspector), tanker experience, welding MIG / TIG, R Stamp experience, Brake Inspector, FHWA / DOT annual inspector
Physical Demands:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
