POSITION TITLE: Training & Development Coordinator
REPORTS TO: PEAK Leader
LOCATION: Reedsburg, WI
POSITION SUMMARY: Develop, implement, and coordinate training programs to improve the job skills of the overall workforce within the site.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop skill specific career paths as it aligns with technology advancement.
- Develop written training materials specific to a job description or task.
- Identify and evaluate current training material and processes.
- Administer site specific PEAK program skills mapping, skills inventory, and training matrix.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology.
- Establish a process to develop trainers based on knowledge and skills in applicable processes.
- Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.
- Audit training programs for completion and effectiveness.
- Translate written training materials and presentations into needed languages, specifically English and Spanish.
- Perform other duties as assigned. All job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.
REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION LEVEL: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. Fluent Spanish/English bilingual skills (verbal/written).
Preferred: Associates or Advance degree in related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum of two years in a role with similar HR and/or Training and Development responsibilities.
Preferred: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, plan and organize projects with attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
- Ability in maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Workforce, SAP HCM, or similar data base structures.
- Skilled in providing customer service.
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand/walk up to 20% of the time.
- Lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently bend and twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities.
