SSA Group is looking for a talented Training Content Writer to join our team!

Position is remote. Denver or Milwaukee candidate preferred, but open to all.

Training Content Writer

Position Title: Training Content Writer
Reports to: Director of Talent Development
Responsibilities
  • Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
  • Coordinate creation of final trainings with graphics and instructional designers.
  • Ensure all training materials align with SSA’s current branding and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Director of Talent Development to identify needs for improvement in current training manuals.
  • Explore alternative methods of implementing training to the field/locations.
Job Requirements
  • Strong content writing ability including proofing and editing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including exhibiting professionalism and diplomacy when working with team.
  • Proven experience with coordination of multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and working productively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Efficiency: Able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort.
  • Attention to detail: Does not let vital details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
  • Proactivity: Acts without being told what to do. Brings innovative ideas to the company.
  • Flexibility/Adaptability: Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
  • Strategic thinking/visioning: Able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. Determines opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends.

  • Promote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team, with networking continuing at all units.
  • Focuses on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
  • Leads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary.
  • Engages with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus. On opportunities of giving back.
Previous Experience
  • Training curriculum development a plus.
  • Training writing experience necessary.
  • Building and maintaining training documents in Confluence, Office 365, and/or Ceridian a plus.
  • All education backgrounds eligible.
