As the Training Manager within the Human Resource team, you will be responsible for leading the creation and delivery of training programs to increase learning and development competencies across the organization.
- Develop a training roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders that incorporates current and future training needs.
- Develop training strategies by conducting needs analysis, identifying gaps, creating learning objectives and developing a delivery approach to support training roadmap.
- Build competency-based training courses that span office and manufacturing roles.
- Create in-house training material or identify off-the-shelf learning content to address learning and development opportunities.
- Oversee the rollout of training initiatives to ensure consistent communication, implementation and evaluation processes are in place to support and sustain learning and development programs.
- Facilitate face-to-face and virtual training courses, leveraging industry best practices and virtual communication tool and technologies to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Partner with Human Resource teammates to identify, prioritize and deliver training programs to meet learning and development needs.
- Engage with Learning & Development industry leaders to stay informed on current best practices.
- Bachelor's degree required; Business, Human Resources or Education focus, preferred.
- 5+ years relevant experience in content design and curriculum development.
- Knowledge of organizational training and development practices.
- Experience planning, delivering and sustaining learning and development programs.
- Experience building training programs within a manufacturing environment, desirable.
- Experience effectively leading through others and handling multiple, complex programs.
- Proficiency with multimedia and virtual meeting solutions, specifically Microsoft Teams.
- Advanced skills using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Forms.
- Skilled communicator verbally and in writing.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt in response to feedback and collaboration.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and decision-making skills with learner's interest in mind.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to influence across various leadership levels.
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaker, desirable.
