Glenn Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital located in Willows CA, in partnership with our physicians, will consistently strive to provide accessible, high quality care within the local community. Our focus is on improving the health and well-being of all individuals by offering inpatient, outpatient and rural health clinic services to the Glenn County community.

Job Summary:
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for transporting ambulatory and wheelchair bound patients to appointments in the area. Prefer C.N.A. or patient care experience.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of either a high school diploma or a GED.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

American Red Cross CPR and/or American Heart Association BLS certification.

Must participate in lift training within 2 months of hire.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lift and carry weights scaled at above 100 lbs. or more; standing/walking on all types of surfaces; and other physical requirements.
• Receiving requests for non-emergency transportation service and other duties related to communication via two-way radio and other communication devices.
• Maintain accurate records of each non-emergency request
• Properly document each transport on the approved Patient Care Report in accordance with American Specialty Ambulance policies and procedures.
• Conduct themselves in a courteous, helpful, dignified and professional manner at all times.
