Job Description:
Purpose: To provide company travel program support.
Location: WFH/ Remote friendly.
Compensation: Compliant to CO labor law, the salary range for CO residents is $52,000 to $64,900. Compensation for candidates outside of CO may vary based upon location and experience.
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for all functional aspects of travel arrangements for Meow Wolf employees including flights, lodging, and rental cars. You will assist the Corporate Travel Manager in identifying the most cost effective and efficient travel arrangements.
This is a project based position with an anticipated duration of 6 months.
As the company’s travel program representative, you will make the day-to-day operations possible while supporting the creation of the newest Meow Wolf exhibits.
How you will do it…
  • Use travel booking system to arrange requested travel including flights, lodging, and rental cars for company employees.
  • Communicate and follow through to maintain strong relations with agencies and vendors.
  • Monitor travel request approval process for accuracy.
  • Act as liaison with corporate housing agency for corporate lease agreements.
  • Verify and complete travel changes as they arise.
  • Maintain records related to company travel, ensure updated database of travelers, and complete profiles as needed.
  • Reconcile credit card purchases and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Drive compliance of company-wide travel policy.
  • Complete travel-related tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role…
  • 5+ years customer service experience, or 2+ years’ experience coordinating corporate travel.
  • Experience with and a good understanding of travel reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industries.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and technical skills.
It would be nice to have…
  • Prior experience with travel management platforms such as TripActions.
  • Prior experience with project management platforms such as Asana.
  • Prior experience with Expensify and/or Workday.
Work environment & physical demands…
  • This is a full-time position,. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • This is a project based position with an anticipated duration of 6 months.
  • Remote friendly/ WFH
  • Minimum travel is required for this position.
