Home every night and every weekend! Bonus for unlimited number of usable pallets returned to us, plus up to $1000 bonus annually. We are hiring reliable regional drivers with valid Class A or B licenses and at least 1 year of verifiable experience to join our team!
Candidate must possess the ability to handle physical workload (bend, twist, lift overhead, squat, etc.) and have a strong work ethic. Driver will be responsible for safely operating 26-28 ft. box trucks, loading and unloading building materials. Hourly rate is $18 per hour.
Background check and drug screen required.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Efficient and accurate delivery of 10-15 stops per day.
- Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured.
- Complete a full pre-trip inspection prior to departure, document any deficiencies and report them directly to the fleet manager.
- Obey all traffic laws and weight limits.
- Properly utilize an ELD system and paper log if the ELD malfunctions.
- Report on time and as scheduled daily.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL – Class A or Class B.
- Clean CDL with a maximum of 3 points.
- Current medical certification.
- Registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and have a clear record.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with CDL.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, twist and reach throughout complete shift.
- Building material experience is a plus.
- Flatbed truck experience is preferred but not required.
- Air brakes endorsement is required.
