Mansfield Service Partners is currently looking for a CDL Truck Driver / Operations Technician with a Class A CDL and Tanker and Hazmat endorsement (X) at our Odessa, Tx location. This position is responsible transporting and delivering of skid tanks and performing technical services.

Essential Duties:

• Receive daily work priorities from the Supervisor Service Technician or Equipment Manger to determine the tasks that require immediate attention.
• Ensure that tanks are prepared according to the specifications outlined in the rig out request forms for both new and existing customers.
• Execute a cleaning process, followed by an application of paint to above ground petroleum tanks.
• Perform Routine maintenance on yard equipment such tank farms, tank equipment, catch basin for drips and spills
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with yard equipment such as Lube oil pumps and fuel systems
• Performs field inspections and maintenance of both MSP and customer owned tanks and related equipment (fleet pumps, hoses, nozzles, and related equipment).
• Provides and maintains fuel and lubricant related equipment through installations, service calls, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
• Conduct safety inspections of all equipment and ensure proper functioning of safety features
• Maintain a clean functioning of dispensing equipment and make necessary repairs

Other Duties:

• Samples services for fuel and lubes.
• Identifies and reports customer service, equipment, and SH&E issues to supervisor.
• Maintains Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) compliance requirements.
• Removes old and damaged decals off tanks.
• Manages work area free of trash and garbage.
• Manges tank staging area organized by tank size.
• Cleans up service spills.
• Inspects gasoline and diesel dispensers for any visible leaks on hoses and nozzles.
• Inspects all storage tank lids to confirm they are locked and tight.
• Recognizes sales opportunities and communicate to supervisor, or other company personnel, as directed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification

• One (1) year mechanical experience (automotive, industrial machinery, valves, pumps)
• One (1) years’ experience with fuel and lube pumps, nozzles, & fittings
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
• Establishes and follows procedures and protocols; maintains consistency in work process
• Experience with pumps and strong mechanical and technical abilities a plus
