THE ROLE:
The Trufl Lead Host position is not your run of the mill Host Job. Here you will work both in office and in the field with our restaurant partners and their in-house staff. This role will involve assisting restaurants with their front of house operations including on-boarding, training, and hosting. The Lead Host is the point person in the business, the “go to” person on site. This position is terrific for individuals looking for more than the same old Hosting Role. In fact, we promote from within and take a vested in interest in ensuring that you are ready to be promoted to a Hospitality Associates Role. JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Work in restaurant to run the restaurant tool, educate guests on Trufl, and provide any in-house restaurant support needed when issues arise.
- This person will train restaurant staff on how to leverage Trufl’s technology to benefit each restaurant guest.
- Possess intricate knowledge of the Trufl application, Trufl Restaurant tool, and Trufl business model and be able to communicate with Trufl customers and restaurants
- Be a master in using the Trufl Restaurant Tool with an ability to succinctly and effectively explains its working to restaurant staff
- Work with restaurant hosts on seating arrangements in the restaurant to properly seat GSN tables, apply guest tags to guest profiles, accept offers on waitlist, and overlook reservation notes for proper planning, update guest statuses on floorplan
- Manage front of house
- Proactively provide support and solutions while in restaurant to any restaurant operations issues that clients may have
- Report Trufl Restaurant Partner activity to FOH Training Manager and escalate any issues to the appropriate individual
- Leverage hospitality expertise to develop a high-quality and satisfactory relationship with every Trufl restaurant partner

EXPERIENCE
- Strong communicator that has the empathy to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Able to operate in ambiguous situations
- Ability to exhaust all resources before asking for help
- Hospitality experience with a focus on host operations and floor plan management.
- Patience to provide high quality hospitality service to restaurant staff and guest. : Full-Time/Part-Time
TOTAL COMPENSATION: $16 - $20 hourly DOE
