JOB SUMMARY:
Initiates Trust business development activities in Wyoming and Colorado. Calls on legal, accounting and other appropriate referral sources throughout the Companies’ various locations to ensure growth of the department. Displays appropriate leadership potential and positive interpersonal skills. Ensures the proper preparation, maintenance and security of all trust records, files, negotiable instruments and documents. Provides an exceptional customer experience to Trust Customers and maintains positive and appropriate relationships with customers and associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Initiate all Trust department business development activities consistently calling on referral sources.
b. Communicate with trust customers and make recommendations for appropriate trust administration activities. Refer client requests to department management as appropriate.
c. Provide research as needed to resolve questions or problems in administration of client accounts.
d. Request and review reports for verification and monitoring of customer accounts to insure quality account administration and to insure observance of trust procedures in setting up and maintenance of accounts.
e. Ensure that all documents are prepared for the Trust Committee meetings.
f. Assist in developing and implementing the Trust Department strategic plan.
g. Assist in developing and implementing marketing and business development activities to achieve strategic goals.

2. COMPLIANCE:
a. Maintain audit, security, compliance and regulatory standards.
b. Keep informed of changes in general, banking services, procedures, and in the economy as well.

3. MISCELLANEOUS OTHER DUTIES:
a. Assist with company functions when possible.
b. Assist other departments as requested.
c. Assume other duties and responsibilities as requested.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:
1. 5 years of experience in a legal field or trust banking preferred.
2. Understanding the fiduciary roll of trustee and the ability to read, understand and interpret legal documents
3. Basic accounting knowledge
4. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone)
5. Ability to understand and utilize various software applications.
6. Ability to confidentially handle sensitive information.
7. Must possess skills to maintain harmonious working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and customers.

Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.

In-House Training Requirements:
Continue on-going training for department operations, policies and procedures.

Normal working days are Monday through Friday~40 hour work week. However, work on some Saturdays, Sunday or holidays may be required by your supervisor.
