Shop Helper/Assistant-Plastics Department

HIS Innovations is looking for a person to get in on the ground floor in our growing Plastic Fabrication department. This position will assist the Plastic Fabrication group with everyday basic tasks with the opportunity to promote up into when training and opportunity exists.

Job Duties

• Running of shop power tools
• Shop Clean up
• Help Fabricators with basic tasks
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Basic fabrication work
• Tracking down in-house supplies/parts
• Use of pallet jack
• Input of Online timecard

Qualification/Experience

• Honest and reliable
• Team player
• Detail oriented
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Able to lift “X” pounds (weights will vary)
• Knowledge of how to run shop power tools
• Knowledge of shop hand tools
• Good organizational skills
• Good safety

Physical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs on a regular basis
• Prolonged periods of standing and bending required
