Schedule & Shift: Mon-Fri 4:30pm -12:00am

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide professional and courteous, unarmed security services at a Veterans Cemetery. Ensure buildings are closed and secured after hours to prevent unauthorized entry. Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Meet and interact with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of Servexo and the client. Maintain poise and self-control under stress. Keep conversations with visitors to the facility cordial and brief.
• Conduct patrols by vehicle or by foot to inspect the exterior of all buildings and fencing to ensure no forced entry of vandalism has occurred.
• Observe visitors for compliance with posted rules and regulations. Report issues to the client and file a report regarding the incident.
• Report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair.
• Observe suspicious personnel or personnel behaving inappropriately, showing hostility, and/or possibly carrying weapons. Monitor potentially unauthorized personnel.
• Prepare required reports at the frequency indicated.
• Other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have at least one year of security guard experience
• Must have security officer license
• Ability to retain composure and perform under pressure and to know when to call for assistance
• Ability to give instructions clearly and concisely, firmly but diplomatically
• Ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate and detailed reports
• Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
