Local scrap yard looking for a motivated and hardworking employee to process cars for scrap. American Northwest Recycling in Port Orchard, WA is looking for vehicle processors and dismantlers to break down cars for recycling. We buy unwanted cars that are brought in and need to be broken down for processing. Must have experience with hand tools and working on cars.

This position is not for people who don't know the meaning of a good day's work. Skilled Mechanics will be paid on the higher end of scale.

Job includes: draining fluids, removing tires, catalytic converters, radiators, preparing engines to be pulled and removing batteries. In Poulsbo, you will also need to pull various parts as needed. Experience is helpful but not necessary unless stated. Opportunities to operate forklifts, loaders and excavators. Pay is $17-25/hr, DOE and opportunity to move up. Excellent attendance and reliable transportation is mandatory. Hours and days of processors are Port Orchard Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm and mandatory Saturdays 8am-2pm. This position required lifting of up to 75 lbs and we work in all weather conditions. We also buy lunch for the whole crew every Friday. Come join our growing family!
