Job title: Vendor Coordinator

Position Summary: Based in the Jacksonville home office, the Vendor Coordinator oversees vendor compliance, vendor communication, and vendor development. This included vendor onboarding, vetting, ensuring all documentation is properly submitted, coordination vendor visits, and troubleshooting vendor concerns.

The Vendor Coordinator position requires working normal business hours as well as additional hours in the event of a catastrophe. May include travel to vendor meetings and conferences. This position may be requested to assist on special projects and have direct involvement on critical projects as needed. Support the key divisions of the Operations Department; Claims, Underwriting, Policy Services, Agency Operations, Sales and Marketing.

Job Description/Essential Functions:

  • Assist Vendor Manager in multiple-areas including, managing the relationship between the company and its vendors.
  • Ensure that vendors deliver quality products on time, while ensuring that the company gets the best value possible.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to make sure they're getting what they need from vendors in a timely fashion.
  • Fosters a positive atmosphere of professionalism, collaboration, and support internally and with other departments.
  • Serves as liaison between all departments and agent so achieve a cohesive result.

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, related work experience may be considered.
  • Project Management Fundamentals.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Recognition of problematic situations and implement swift creative solutions
  • Train, mentor and guide internal support staff.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills
