Full time Veterinary Assistant needed for a busy six doctor mixed animal practice in historic Lexington, VA. Applicant must be must have at least one year professional experience working with animals, be a multi-tasker, organized, friendly, motivated, detail oriented and work well within a team environment. Interest in and experience with large animals is a plus but is not required. Will consider applicants with less specific job experience, but who have the right attitude, are trainable and willing to learn and grow. Regardless of level of job experience, applicant must be comfortable and familiar with handling animals. Occasional after hours, weekend, and holiday duties are required but are shared with other assistants and technicians on our team.
