The Old 41 Animal Hospital is a small, community-focused, dog and cat practice in Bonita Springs and we are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary assistant or CVT to our team.

Compensation is based on experience and could range anywhere from $18-25/hour depending on experience and technician certification.

Examples of duties include:

• Providing an excellent customer and patient experience
• Assisting the veterinarians
• Diagnostic imaging including digital x-rays and dental x-rays
• Venipuncture
• Placement of IV catheters
• Perform in-house laboratory tests
• Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
• Care of hospitalized patients
• Client education

Essential skills include animal husbandry, computer proficiency, an understanding of veterinary terminology and commonly used veterinary drugs. Veterinary experience is required and experience with Avimark is a plus! Applicant must be prepared to pass a background check.
