Bend Animal Emergency and Specialty Center is an independently owned hospital seeking a hospital custodian. Primary duties will include: cleaning dog and cat kennels, keeping hospital supplies stocked, laundry, cleaning of common areas and treatment areas, keeping the working parts of the hospital tidy, allowing our clinical staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.

We desire a candidate who is able to multi-task, is able to take initiative and direction, be willing to learn, not afraid of bodily fluids and be confident in communicating with the rest of the team. This job requires little to no animal handling.

This is a fast paced emergency room, we see a great deal of trauma cases. This means you will be present for things like CPR, hit by car trauma, broken bones, surgery etc. The reality of the veterinary industry is that we see see the good and the bad.

Experience in the veterinary industry is not required but is helpful. You will have the opportunity to see how an emergency veterinary hospital operates and become a valuable member of our team.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 3x12
• 8 hour shift

All employees and clients are required to wear masks inside the hospital.
