Kennesaw Mountain Animal Hospital – Receptionist

We are an ever-expanding, full-spectrum pet care facility with four doctors; in search of an experienced, full-time veterinary receptionist.

Voted Best of Cobb: Best Veterinary Group – Best Training - Best Groomer, our thriving veterinary practice of ten years is fortunate to have a loyal client base from the surrounding affluent neighborhoods in the West Cobb area.

Our 11,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility houses a 5,000 sq. ft. full-care hospital located on our upper level, a 5,000 sq. ft. Pet Resort located on our lower level, and an additional 1,000 sq. ft. on our top floor dedicated to continuing education for both staff and clients.

Our practice requires all staff to hold themselves to the highest standard of client and patient care, and to expect the same from their employer. Position Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a veterinary receptionist preferred.
  • Knowledge of Avimark® Software preferred.
  • Ability to create, monitor, and maintain detailed/accurate patient records.
  • Scheduling Appointments, Procedures, and Surgeries
  • Provide Accurate Estimates for Treatment, Procedures, and Surgeries
  • Communicate precise details to clients regarding pre-appointment preparations, follow ups, and medication compliance.
  • Efficiently facilitate accurate and clear communications between our clients and our doctors.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Effective and Accurate Communication is Paramount
  • Maintain a Pleasant and Warm Demeanor
  • Maintain a Professional Appearance
  • Empathy and compassion for our patients and their owners are a must.
