Allendale Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to add to our talented team in Allendale, NJ, just minutes from New York City.

As a member of the clinical team, in addition to traditional vet tech duties, you will be actively involved in:

• Client education and communication
• Detailed electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Diagnostics
• Reviewing medical records and lab work
• Calculating doses for both oral and injectable medications

What we need:

• 1-2 years of veterinary technician experience, including surgical experience
• CVT/LVT/RVT preferred
• Exceptional communication skills (including spelling and grammar) – strong and respectful written and verbal communication skills for both clients and staff
• Adaptable – remain flexible while maintaining a positive attitude
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail
• Good time management and efficiency with ability to prioritize
• Reliable – good judgment with ability to work and learn independently, responsibly, and ethically
• Resourceful problem-solving skills with active recall
• Dedicated to providing excellent service for every client and patient
• Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
• A passion for and commitment to the welfare of animals
