Raritan Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team of technicians. We are a high quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital which offers both general practice medicine in addition to specialty care in the areas of cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, and internal medicine. We are looking for a technician with some prior experience, who is energetic and eager to learn. Our hospital promotes active learning of fear free handling. This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule that includes some evenings and rotating Saturday shifts. Our technicians are exposed to all hospital areas to help them become well rounded technicians, capable of all aspects of veterinary care.
Ideal candidates should have experience in the following areas: venipuncture & catheter placement, lab work, radiology, surgical monitoring and assistance, pharmacy duties, and handling medical records. We welcome LVT or CVT certification, but all candidates will be considered and are encouraged to apply!
Our Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as client education. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
