The Department for the Blind & Vision Impaired are seeking a VIB Supply Store Associate at the Pentagon.
Duties/responsibilities Include/may include:

- Stock clerk
- Cashier
- Customer service duties utilizing an automated point-of-sale system
- Cash register operation
- Providing customer service
- Assistance with special orders
- Receiving merchandise.
- Stocking shelves
- Quality assurance.
- Material movement and other duties in support of the operation of the Base Supply Store.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Proficient computer skills, familiarity with internet, Microsoft Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated problem-solving and excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to:
- Perform duties independently without direct supervision
- Lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 8 hours
Preferred Qualifications
- General warehousing and/or retail experience preferred
Special Requirements
Fingerprint based criminal background check required for access to Federal Buildings and Military Bases.
