THE ROLE
The Vice President, Marketing (VP, Marketing), will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive, multi-year marketing and brand strategy to support Vantage Airport Group’s corporate growth goals. Key responsibilities will include evolving and accelerating the Vantage brand to build value and recognition amongst a variety of audiences, including investors, political groups, trade organizations, community leaders, and transportation infrastructure clients. The VP, Marketing will focus on developing new customer relations, while collaborating with Vantage leadership on existing operations and their marketing needs. The most senior marketing role in the organization, the VP, Marketing will work with Vantage’s executive team and key leaders across a range of portfolios and network locations to position Vantage for growth by developing and implementing strategic and cohesive marketing initiatives that enhance and protect the organization’s reputation.
Responsibilities:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy, Brand, and Team Leadership
- Develop and implement a multi-year cohesive strategy to build value in and grow awareness of the Vantage brand, with a specific focus on the U.S. market
- Lead a review and refresh of the Vantage brand, to evolve and optimize the company’s brand in to support corporate growth objectives
- Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies and associated materials
- Create and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally through clear and consistent communication and ensure alignment with other marketing and communications employees throughout the Vantage network, including community outreach Develop marketing content and collateral, such as comprehensive case studies, presentations, advertising, digital campaigns to support business development and acquisitions pursuits
- Gather customer, competitor, and market intelligence for cross functional use
- Monitor all marketing campaigns to determine effectiveness and provide marketing metrics to the executive team on a regular basis
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Create a multi-year plan to grow Marketing capacity utilizing a blend of partners, external consultants, and internal hires
- Ensure that Vantage is strategically positioned amongst existing and prospective investors through the releasing of information, handling of inquiries executive feedback, and support of the Mergers & Acquisitions team’s pursuits.
- Build out earned, owned, and paid strategies for Vantage’s brand. Identity proactive media opportunities to tell Vantage’s story, and provide issues management support and strategic PR counsel to executive and network airport teams.
- Coordinate on Government Relations activities to ensure stakeholder engagement strategies with elected officials and political organizations at every level of government are aligned with overall marketing and branding programs
- Business development and proposal support for Vantage’s commercial, project and acquisitions teams
- Communications to and about Vantage’s network locations
- Provide communications oversight support for departmental priorities to ensure all aspects, including environmental, social, and governance framework are aligned with corporate marketing and branding program
- Internal communications to employees and network personnel
ABOUT YOU
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field with at least 10 years’ relevant work experience with global companies
- Strong relationship building skills including maintaining clear lines of communication with individuals based on a high degree of trust and credibility
- Strong branding and reputation management skills
- Strong consulting, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated business acumen, including strong financial management understanding, coupled with strategic, analytical and creative skills
- An ability to manage multiple projects, while delivering on time without compromising quality
- An ability to effect change
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- New York City (NYC) or remote in the U.S. with the ability to attend at the NYC office on short notice. Legally entitled to work in the U.S.
- Regular travel to and from NYC area is expected.
