Great opportunity for a Vice President of Staffing and Recruiting for a successful, CA based, Medical Staffing firm.

Remote position, located in LA or Orange County preferred.

Salary plus incentive program, excellent benefits.


This position will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the company’s recruitment and delivery functions.

The Recruitment and Delivery Manager will successfully perform the duties and responsibilities listed below to achieve the strategic objectives and financial goals set by the company. Additionally, the Recruitment and Delivery Manager will manage the Credentialing team and work closely with other managers and executives of the company.


Management of Recruitment and Delivery team members, clients, and field employees (healthcare professionals placed at client facilities)

  • Participate in the planning, development and implementation of the company’s strategic goals and objectives for Recruitment and Service Delivery to ensure we hit or exceed our goals
  • Recruited delivery and management of key expenses:
    • Budgeted compensation (salary and incentives) of team members
    • Offshore resources and Independent Recruiters
    • Job Boards and Delivery Resources
    • ATS (LaborEdge)
    • Other expenses
  • Recruited delivery, client, and staff management:
    • Respond to client requests that are above typical day to day items, client escalation point (when a CRM or POC unable to deal with a topic or issue) and work with the Director of Nursing on resolving issues related to nurses placed at clients.
    • Relationship development for expansion of opportunities
    • Coordination of efforts when we need to leave/terminate a client and/or internal and external employees, subcontractors, and independent recruiters
    • Evaluate performance reports received from clients; and develop and implement improvement processes, when needed.
    • Client Manuals – Update client SOP and client manuals, when needed.
  • Recruit, hire, provide new hire orientation, initial and on-going training of corporate team members; coach/mentor, and terminate non-performers.
  • Train and manage of 24HRMED’s CRMs, credentialing manager, and other staff assigned to the Recruitment and Delivery team.

Performance Management Program (PMP)

  • Develop, update, and implement performance metrics to monitor the performance of direct reports using tools such as Insight Squared, ATS, etc.; train and mentor direct report managers on how to measure performance and conduct performance review effectively.

Management reporting on the goals, tracking progress, tracking performance, providing clear and accurate data

  • Provide management reports on all 24HRMED’s third-party resume sourcing and job posting resource providers/vendors including the performance and ROI through the utilization of these services.
  • Develop and provide various training programs in areas that fall under marketing (job posting, social media/social recruitment) and client relationship development; identify and provide extensive training needed to obtain results expected from staff.

Marketing

  • Assist management in developing 24HRMED’s marketing strategies including all external facing materials, website, social media program, and job posting; branding; creating company forms documents, website, and other tools needed to efficiently market and sell our services to healthcare professionals and place them at clients.

Other duties needed to meet company goals and objectives

  • Report and share new ideas, concepts, and activities that will help in growing the company to the next level.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and leadership among peers in the staffing industry.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the staffing industry at management level or higher
  • Medical Staffing Preferred
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level, understand P/L statements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Must possess excellent customer service, management experience and staffing execution skills for the position
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective public speaking, superior writing capabilities
  • MS Office Software Experience (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • ATS experience (LaborEdge preferred)
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Common Sense, Optimistic, Determined and Ethical
