Earn $81,000+/year

Individual will work for the IBHS Program to educate employees & school staff as well as children and their families on violence prevention techniques and awareness, as well as coping mechanisms specific to gun violence. Individual will maintain relationships with local community members and partners in order to lead support groups and educational programs.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree preferred with emphasis in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Education and/or Counseling
  • Experience facilitating trauma informed groups/workshops
  • Experience coordinating community events
  • Experience in public speaking is preferred, and prior violence prevention curriculum implementation
  • Experience developing and growing programs
  • An in-depth knowledge of and experience working with Philadelphia communities
  • Experience and knowledge of at-risk youth and gang involvement preferred
  • Able to travel throughout Philadelphia County
