Clear Minded Care is a boutique psychiatry practice that addresses patient needs through medication management and supportive psychotherapy. We are a technologically advanced private practice that has embraced modern technology to better serve our patients. We primarily offer telehealth services to more easily fit into our busy patient’s lives.
We are looking for a multi-skilled worker who can assume a wide range of administrative roles and assist our providers with patient care within our private practice setting. The best candidate is highly independent and self driven with good critical thinking skills to solve problems and a pleasant, professional attitude when dealing with patients.
This position utilizes several applications and the role requires frequent checking across systems throughout the day. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, especially in communicating via text and email. This is a remote position, but video meetings are required. A quiet and secure place to work is necessary as you may have to be on video or answer phones during the day.
This is a fully remote position for 36-40 hours per week; excellent work-life balance, health insurance and generous PTO available.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality customer service and builds relationships with our patient population
- Carry out delegated duties from our psychiatric providers to relay results or orders, or provide patient care in accordance with practice policies and standards of practice
- Acts as a liaison between patients and clinicians to ensure optimal efficiency
- Scheduling and rescheduling patients
- Entering vital signs Intake screening
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Gathers and processes information for patient registration, verifies demographic and financial information, processes consent forms
- Assisting with obtaining prior-authorizations
- Contacting pharmacies and/or insurance companies
- Interacting with patients with on the phone, through text, and through email
- Coordinates with billers to solve patient problems and answer questions
- Collect patient balances and manages patient payment plans
- Performs administrative support
- Completes all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by clinical staff/supervisors

Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical receptionist
- Mental health work experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Current Clinical Medical Assistant Certification and completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assistant program preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
