We are currently looking for a VP Team Lead. This position will oversee the Lending Team operations, originate and renew commercial loans, monitor account files and update as needed. Provide assistance in loan collection and loans in difficulty.
To qualify for this VP Team Lead you must have:
- Good computer skills in a Windows environment with proficiency in Word and Excel.
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Exceptional speed and accuracy in meeting the customer and team needs.
- Exceptional customer interpersonal skills.
- Ability to bring in new business.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending including minimum 5 years in supervision/management.

This VP Team Lead position requires you to:
- Manage team. Oversee team operations, manage scheduling and deal flow, provide training for lending personnel, and analyze team underwriting.
- Originate commercial loans. Respond to commercial loan inquiries from customers and potential loan customers, evaluate loan requests for viability-e.g. financial statement and risk analysis-generate loan approval reports and loan presentation package, communicate with customers on approval or denial of requests or modifications of requests, negotiate rates and fees, follow up on documentary deficiencies and on-going credit file maintenance, and close loans.
- Evaluate and renew current commercial loans. Analyze existing loans for renewal and/or structural change and prepare loans for presentation and approval.
- Monitor financial status of accounts. Review credit files and update changes in financial status, review and coordinate exception report resolution, follow up on loan tickler reports, and review files for examination purposes.
- Contact existing customers to augment existing service relationship, contact potential customers to establish relationships for current and future business..
- Problem loan resolution and collections. Initiate phone calls to past due loan customers, collect on chronic delinquent accounts at time of repossession, liquidation or foreclosure of collateral, and monitor past due and payment reports.
- Supervise commercial lending team staff, such that annual goals for production, credit quality and profitability are achieved. Mentor and prepare for succession at all levels. Develop teamwork and teach adherence to cultural beliefs. Develop ongoing succession plans. Train and hire the best staff.
