Job description

Great Plains Beef is looking for a dependable and hardworking full-time Warehouse Associate that has the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Day to day duties will include picking, packing, and shipping out orders. Receiving product and maintaining accurate inventory of products and supplies will also be an essential part of the job. The Warehouse Associate will also assist in keeping the Warehouse, products, supplies, and equipment in an organized and safe manner.

This position will require a strong attention to details, excellent organizational skills, and ability to follow directions, procedures, and safety rules and regulations. Some experience operating forklifts beneficial, but not required. The Warehouse Associate will need to work in team environment and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members and managers. Assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Able to work with computers, including inventory software, database and other systems

· Good organizational skills, time management, and mathematical skills

· Able to lift 50lbs frequently

· Able to lift over 75 pounds occasionally

· Able to work in refrigerated and freezer units for extended periods of time

· Hard working

· Dependable and reliable

· Detail oriented

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Flexible and open to change

· Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment

· Able to learn quickly, embrace responsibility and accept accountability

· Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
